# Consuela

Hispanic housekeeper in Quahog and a recurring character.

## Core facts

- **Role:** Housekeeper
- **Voiced by:** Mike Henry, credited in every listed episode
- **First appearance:** Believe It or Not, Joe's Walking on Air (S06E03, 7 October 2007)
- **Credited appearances:** 25 episodes across 12 seasons. This is a floor, because the source records at most ten voice credits per episode.

## Character

Consuela works as a maid. She speaks limited English and usually declines the tasks she is given. Parody cutaways have shown her working as a maid for Superman and for Darth Vader.

## Relationships

- **Former employers:** the Griffins, who hire her in Dog Gone (S08E08). They find her too difficult and pass her on to [Joe Swanson](joe-swanson.md).
- **Husband:** Juan, who lives in Mexico, named in Valentine's Day in Quahog (S11E12)
- **Son:** Rodrigo, who is in prison
- **Nephew:** Mikey, who sells light-up yo-yos
- **Niece:** Isabella, named in Dearly Deported (S15E19)

## Common errors to avoid

- **Her first appearance is S06E03, not S06E05.** The credited list starts with Lois Kills Stewie (S06E05) because the credits are incomplete. The facts table gives Believe It or Not, Joe's Walking on Air as her debut.
- **Mike Henry voices her.** He is credited in every listed episode.
