Johnny Brennan voices him. He is of Polish Jewish descent, and the series draws his household as a set of American Jewish stereotypes. He owns Goldman's Pharmacy and works behind its counter, and his son Neil has a job there. His marriage to Muriel Goldman produced that one child and ended with her death. In the nineteenth season he marries again, to a woman named Rachel.
