First broadcast on 21 March 2000. ## Story Faced with a hefty hospital bill, Peter gets out of paying it by declaring himself dead. The declaration brings a visit from Death himself, who has come to collect. While chasing Peter, Death injures his ankle and cannot carry out his duties. With nobody able to die, every person on Earth becomes immortal. Peter is made to stand in as the new Grim Reaper until Death is fit again. ## Production and reception - Meg is voiced here by Lacey Chabert, uncredited, because the episode was broadcast out of production order.
