Written by Ken Goin and directed by Pete Michels. First broadcast on 8 May 2005. ## Story When the English teacher at Chris's school leaves, Brian steps in as a substitute. He is moved to a class of troubled teenagers and, after a struggle, persuades them to aim for modest jobs. Meanwhile Chris falls for Mrs Lockhart, the teacher who takes over from Brian. She offers to return his affection if he helps her kill her husband. Chris refuses, so she has a bear do it instead.
