# Peter's Progress

Episode 16 of Family Guy season 7 (S07E16), the 126th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Wellesley Wild and directed by Brian Iles. First broadcast on 17 May 2009.

## Story

Cleveland's cousin Madame Claude, a psychic, reads the palms of Peter, Joe and Quagmire to reveal their past lives. Peter learns he was Griffin Peterson, founder of Quahog, and the story moves to 17th century England. Griffin is engaged to Lady Redbush (Lois), but King Stewart III (Stewie) wants her for himself. The king has Griffin seized on his wedding day and shipped to the New World, then tells Redbush her fiancé is dead and marries her. Griffin founds the colony of Quahog with fellow exiles Joe, Quagmire and Seamus. The king's jester (Brian) eventually shows Redbush a newspaper report proving Griffin is alive, and the pair sail to join him. Stewart follows with his army, and the two men agree to settle the matter with a talent show. Griffin's musical number wins, the king returns to England, and Griffin and Redbush stay in Quahog.
