First broadcast on 22 November 2009. ## Story With Cleveland gone, Peter, Quagmire and Joe interview candidates for a fourth friend and pick Jerome, a bar regular who impresses them at darts. Peter then learns that Jerome once dated Lois. Drunk and jealous, he throws a bottle through Jerome's window and accidentally burns the house down. Lois invites Jerome to stay with the family, and Peter's jealousy grows until he throws him out. After Lois reveals that Jerome had bought him a gift, Peter apologises and the two stay friends. Meanwhile Brian asks to join the group and is told that Quagmire dislikes him. He tricks Quagmire into a dinner by pretending the invitation comes from Cheryl Tiegs, then asks him why. Quagmire responds with a long list of Brian's faults. Back home, Stewie cheers Brian up and lets him sleep in his room. ## Production and reception - The first broadcast on 22 November 2009 was watched by about 7.39 million viewers with a 3.8 rating among 18 to 49 year olds.
