First broadcast on 29 January 2012. ## Story At a children's sing-along at Quahog Public Library, Stewie meets Scotty Jennings, and the Griffins befriend his parents, Ben and Hope. Scotty collapses during a play date and Peter and Lois rush him to the hospital, where Dr Hartman diagnoses Hodgkin's disease. Ben and Hope already knew, but as Christian Scientists they decline treatment and put their trust in prayer. Joe tells Lois that the police cannot step in without infringing the family's religious rights, so she and Peter take Scotty from the house themselves. The abduction is reported on the news, and a crowd meets them at the hospital. Lois argues that medicine is itself an answer to prayer, and the parents give way. Scotty recovers, by which point Stewie has a new friend with leprosy. ## Production and reception - Danny Smith wrote the episode and Pete Michels directed.
