First broadcast on 8 December 2013. ## Story Peter and Quagmire find by accident that their voices harmonise, and start writing songs together. Mort, who sells them paper and mentions his own musical past, becomes their manager, books them an open mic slot at the library and posts the recording online, which gets them onto a music festival bill. The set goes well, they drop Mort for a manager named Ricky and go on tour over Lois's objection that she needs Peter at home for Thanksgiving. Peter begins making decisions for both of them, and during a performance on Conan he drops his plectrum into his guitar, so Quagmire smashes it and walks off. Peter goes home and is forgiven, Quagmire apologises as well, and Peter then shoots himself on the tour bus. ## Production and reception - It was the first episode without Brian Griffin, who had died in the previous one. Vinny replaced him in the story and in the opening sequence, part of a three episode run covering the death, the replacement and the return.
