# Rock Hard

## Story

In a record shop, Peter and his friends tell three stories about musicians. Peter takes the part of Jim Morrison, forming the Doors with Ray Manzarek before his troubles end in a fatal overdose. Jerome plays a bluesman who trades his soul for talent, then loses his songs to a friend who turns out to be Elvis Presley and takes the credit. Stewie appears as Elton John, pushed into music by his parents and worn down by his manager and by drugs, with Brian as his writing partner Bernie Taupin. Afterwards Peter names the Trashmen, not the Beatles, as the group that changed music, and the four men perform "Surfin' Bird".

## Production and reception
