# Dear Francis

## Story

Lois takes to Peter's backwards cap, and during sex he uses the wrong name. She assumes he means his late father, Francis; he means the new waitress at the Drunken Clam. A therapist, Dr Snelling (Alfred Molina), tells him to spend time with his children and write to his father. Lois learns the truth at the Clam and turns him out. Peter writes the letter, promising to be the better father, and is forgiven. The waitress has been left at a nursing school in Denver.
