Absolutely Babulous

Episode 3 of Family Guy season 18 (S18E03), the 332nd Family Guy episode overall. Written by Mark Hentemann and Ted Jessup and directed by Mike Kim. First broadcast on 13 October 2019.

Story

Stewie's boasting over a race medal stops when Brian points out that it is a participation award, as is every other trophy he owns. In a rage he burns the house down, and the family moves in with Carter and Babs. Stewie enters a pie-making contest, comes fifth, and is reassured that few entrants take a ribbon at all. Peter, sidelined as Lois falls back into high-society manners around her father, hears from Babs that she grew up poor as well. A drunken night out follows, and his encouragement to live as she pleases sends her back to her home town and away from Carter. Peter takes Carter after her disguised as a lorry driver. A fight there brings Babs to his defence, and she agrees to come home.
