Season 18 · Episode 13 · First aired 1 March 2020
Rich Old Stewie
Episode 13 of Family Guy season 18 (S18E13), the 342nd Family Guy episode overall. Written by Chris Sheridan and directed by Brian Iles. First broadcast on 1 March 2020.
Story
Fifty years on, Stewie has money and a home in California when Brian arrives with news that Peter is dying. The two collect Chris and Meg on the way to Quahog and find the family home in poor repair. Peter asks Stewie to promise to look after them all, and Stewie has the house rebuilt before Peter dies. Cigars are handed round, and as Stewie sets off home the family laughs at having tricked him out of his money. Stewie has seen through it and left the gas running, so the house goes up when Chris lights his cigar. All of it proves to be a fantasy: Stewie is picking out an old man costume for Halloween, and his fear of ageing gives way to looking forward to it. In the same shop, Meg briefly pictures herself as Evita Perón.
