About Jonathan Weed
Mr Jonathan Weed owns the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory in Quahog. Peter Griffin worked under him there through the early seasons. Butch Hartman voiced the character in the pilot pitch and Carlos Alazraqui in the series. He speaks with a strong Spanish accent, and his staff regard him as an effeminate oddity. Almost everything Peter does meets with his disapproval, mostly because it costs the company, and he sacks or nearly sacks Peter more than once. He first appears in "Death Has a Shadow". The Griffins have him round for dinner in "Mr. Saturday Knight". He makes Peter head of toy development, then chokes to death on a dinner roll that a Heimlich manoeuvre has just cleared from Brian's throat. Police take the half-eaten roll into custody. His recorded will replaces the factory with a children's hospital at once, and the demolition machinery starts up around the guests.
