Believe It or Not, Joe's Walking on Air
Episode 3 of Family Guy season 6 (S06E03), the 101st Family Guy episode overall. Written by Andrew Goldberg and directed by Julius Wu. First broadcast on 7 October 2007.
Story
Peter, Cleveland, Joe and Quagmire grow irritated when Lois, Bonnie and Cleveland's new girlfriend Bernice join them at the Drunken Clam. Peter proposes a men-only bar, and the four spend six weeks and 8,000 dollars building the Quahog Men's Club. The wives retaliate by turning up to dance, and Bonnie is left out because Joe cannot join in. Feeling self-conscious, Joe has an operation and regains the use of his legs. He throws himself into rock climbing, karate and dance, then drops his old friends for three fitter companions and leaves Bonnie. Peter, Cleveland and Quagmire try to paralyse him again and fail. Bonnie fires Joe's handgun at his spine and misses, so Joe takes the gun and shoots himself. Back at the Drunken Clam he apologises and the friends make up.
