Play It Again, Brian
Episode 10 of Family Guy season 6 (S06E10), the 108th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Danny Smith and directed by John Holmquist. First broadcast on 2 March 2008.
Story
Peter and Lois are struggling after he repeatedly abandons her for Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe. Brian wins an award for an essay and invites the couple to Martha's Vineyard for the presentation, hoping the trip will help. With the neighbours unavailable, Herbert is hired to mind Meg, Chris and Stewie. At the hotel Peter keeps wandering off, so Lois spends her time with Brian. He reveals the essay was about her, then makes an aggressive pass, which she rejects. The next morning Peter confronts Brian at the bar and the argument becomes a fist fight. Afterwards the two agree never to let Lois divide them. Brian apologises to Lois and admits the essay was largely copied from Summer of '42. She confides that she sometimes shares his feelings but chooses to stay with Peter.
