Family Guy Through the Years
Episode 16 of Family Guy season 16 (S16E16), the 305th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Chris Sheridan and directed by Julius Wu. First broadcast on 22 April 2018.
Story
The episode presents Family Guy as a programme that has run for sixty years. It takes the form of a retrospective, looking back over decades of a history the show never had. Segments from the 1950s, the 1960s and the 1970s are held up in turn. Each one shows the cultural events and public issues of its decade as the imagined series dealt with them at the time.
