Turkey Guys

Episode 5 of Family Guy season 13 (S13E05), the 236th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and directed by Julius Wu. First broadcast on 16 November 2014.

Story

The opening sequence parodies the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. On Thanksgiving morning Lois sees photographs suggesting Peter and Brian have eaten the turkey, and sends them out for another. They buy the last one for miles at the Highland Park Market, then lose their transport in stages: Peter drives Brian's car into a lake, the two are put off a bus, a stolen bicycle is wrecked, and a driver takes the turkey at gunpoint. Peter admits he ate the first bird alone, and the pair steal a replacement from the county zoo. At home Stewie coaches Chris to act as man of the house, and Chris gets drunk. Peter cannot bring himself to kill the turkey and seats it as a guest, until Chris shoots it.

Production and reception

The broadcast drew 4.46 million viewers, the lowest in its timeslot but third on Fox that night behind The Simpsons and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Wikipedia, Turkey Guys
