Run, Chris, Run

Episode 19 of Family Guy season 14 (S14E19), the 268th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Damien Fahey and directed by Julius Wu. First broadcast on 15 May 2016.

Story

Principal Shepherd invites nominations for homecoming king, and Neil Goldman puts Chris forward. Chris wins the vote and starts behaving like royalty at home. Meg suspects a prank by the popular pupils. A news report leads Brian and Stewie to conclude that the school voted out of pity, but Chris will not accept it. At the dance he works out the truth for himself and rounds on his classmates before making up with Brian and Stewie. Meanwhile, Peter, Joe and Quagmire slip out of the Drunken Clam and leave Cleveland with the bill. Cleveland takes up with Jerome instead. Attempts to win him back fail, and he tells them Jerome is the better friend. Jerome privately admits he finds Cleveland dull but feels bound to him by race. Cleveland eventually returns to his old friends.
