A flu outbreak leaves Peter the only healthy Griffin, so he volunteers as a nurse at the hospital. There he finds Ernie the Giant Chicken dying, having refused the vaccine against chicken cancer, a decision that also cost him his marriage. Peter treats him rather than accept sole blame for the damage their fights have caused. Brian meanwhile takes a 23andMe test, learns he is one per cent cat and begins doubting how he lives. He hurts himself trying to land on his feet in front of Quagmire. Stewie tells him his genes matter less than the regard of others.
