If I'm Dyin', I'm Lyin'

Episode 9 of Family Guy season 2 (S02E09), the 16th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Chris Sheridan and directed by Swinton O. Scott III. First broadcast on 4 April 2000.

Story

Peter and Chris's favourite television programme is taken off the air. To get it back, Peter tells the Grant-A-Dream Foundation that Chris is terminally ill. He claims that his son's last wish is for the programme's return. When Chris fails to die, Peter goes further still, declaring himself a healer and starting a religion of his own.
