Road to Rhode Island

Episode 13 of Family Guy season 2 (S02E13), the 20th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Gary Janetti and directed by Dan Povenmire. First broadcast on 30 May 2000.

Story

Brian tells his psychiatrist about being taken from his mother at a Texas puppy mill, then volunteers to collect Stewie from his grandparents' home in Palm Springs. He gets drunk at the airport bar and their bags and tickets are stolen. The pair hotwire a car when their credit card is refused and wreck a plane they try to steal. Reaching the puppy mill, Brian finds his mother has died and been stuffed as a table, and he buries her in a park. They ride home in a boxcar, performing a duet. Meanwhile Lois buys relationship videos for Peter, which prove to be pornography fronted by Dr Amanda Rebecca. Peter becomes hooked, so Lois puts herself on the end of a tape in lingerie. Back home Stewie covers for Brian and asks only that Brian tape The Brady Bunch.
