Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q
Episode 3 of Family Guy season 10 (S10E03), the 168th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Alec Sulkin and directed by Dominic Bianchi. First broadcast on 30 October 2011.
Story
Quagmire fails to appear for a fishing trip, and Peter and Joe find him unconscious after an autoerotic asphyxiation accident. At the hospital his sister Brenda wakes him from a coma, and she has brought her violent partner Jeff with her. Lois takes Brenda to lunch, sees a bruise behind her sunglasses and urges her to leave, but Brenda makes excuses for him. Joe explains that the police cannot act without a formal complaint, so the men stage an intervention, at which Jeff reveals the pair are engaged and Brenda is pregnant. After Jeff strikes her again, the three lure him on a hunting trip. Jeff turns the tables and tries to kill Quagmire, who survives and runs him down with Peter's car. They tell Brenda that Jeff has walked out.
