Stewie Goes for a Drive

Episode 4 of Family Guy season 10 (S10E04), the 169th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Gary Janetti and directed by Julius Wu. First broadcast on 6 November 2011.

Story

Brian collects Stewie from a play date. Stewie stays behind in the car to hear out a Carrie Underwood song, nudges the gear shift and decides that he can drive. He takes the car out alone, then loses control while ringing a radio competition and hits a lamp post head on. Brian spots the damage and threatens to tell Peter and Lois, so Stewie runs away. He ends up in the wrong part of town, where the family's former maid Consuela takes him in and refuses to let him leave; Stewie shoots her in the foot and gets away with Brian. Meanwhile a cartoon version of the actor Ryan Reynolds moves in across the street and befriends Peter, who flees a dinner when the character makes a pass at him, and the two fall out.
