Joe's Revenge
Episode 5 of Family Guy season 11 (S11E05), the 193rd Family Guy episode overall. Written by Julius Sharpe and directed by Bob Bowen. First broadcast on 18 November 2012.
Story
News at the Drunken Clam reports the capture of Bobby Briggs, the heroin dealer who shot Joe in the legs during an undercover operation fifteen years earlier. Joe admits how he was really crippled, then learns that Briggs has escaped custody and that the case will go to other officers. He accepts Peter and Quagmire as unofficial help. In Atlantic City, Quagmire gets an address out of a stripper, but Briggs escapes a rooftop pursuit and the three are arrested by policemen Joe recognises as corrupt. They take the police car to the Mexican border at El Paso, where Joe corners Briggs, shoots him in the legs and watches him bleed to death. At home, Lois is left minding Quagmire's Persian cat, to Brian's jealousy.
