Into Fat Air

Episode 1 of Family Guy season 11 (S11E01), the 189th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Alec Sulkin and directed by Joseph Lee. First broadcast on 30 September 2012.

Story

Lois arranges dinner with her former boyfriend Ross Fishman, his wife Pam and their son Ben. Goaded by Ross boasting about the family holidays and a planned ascent of Mount Everest, Peter claims the Griffins will climb it too, and Lois, equally irritated, insists they go through with it. In Nepal the two families set off, and the Fishmans reach the summit first. A storm traps the Griffins on the way down with nothing to eat, and they survive by eating Ben's frozen body. Passing Ross and Pam, who are still searching for their son, Lois turns the family back and hauls them out of a crevasse. At base camp the Fishmans are loaded onto a helicopter, and Peter tells them what the Griffins ate before waving the pilot away.

Production and reception
