Hell Comes to Quahog

Episode 3 of Family Guy season 5 (S05E03), the 83rd Family Guy episode overall. Written by Kirker Butler and directed by Dan Povenmire. First broadcast on 24 September 2006.

Story

Peter and his friends forget to collect Meg from the roller rink, and after skating home in the rain she asks for her own car. At the dealership Peter is talked into buying a tank instead. He teaches Meg to drive it, but they run over Joe and he impounds it. Meg takes a job at Superstore USA, a new megastore run by Mr Penisburg, to save for a car. The store's own brewery puts the Pawtucket Brewery out of business and Peter loses his job, while its cooling system drains the town's power during a heatwave. Peter joins a protest, then takes a job there himself with Meg as his superior. When Meg is promoted and ordered to sack her father, she quits instead. Brian and Stewie retrieve the tank, drive it through the store and blow it up, killing Penisburg and Paddy Tanniger. Power returns to Quahog.

Production and reception
