Barely Legal

Episode 8 of Family Guy season 5 (S05E08), the 88th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Kirker Butler and directed by Zac Moncrief. First broadcast on 17 December 2006.

Story

Mayor Adam West sends almost the whole Quahog police department to Cartagena to look for a character from Romancing the Stone, leaving Joe behind because the city is not accessible to wheelchairs. Peter, Cleveland and Quagmire sign up to help him. Meg, left without a date for the junior prom, is taken by Brian, who drinks steadily through the evening, defends her against Connie D'Amico and kisses her. Meg then treats him as her boyfriend and refuses to accept his refusal. She knocks him out, drives him to the Barrington Hotel and ties him up. Lois, Peter and the new officers find them, and Quagmire takes Meg home, where instead of taking advantage of her he tells her not to rush into growing up and hands her a copy of The Missing Piece.
