Meet the Quagmires
Episode 18 of Family Guy season 5 (S05E18), the 98th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Mark Hentemann and directed by Dan Povenmire and Chris Robertson. First broadcast on 20 May 2007.
Story
Envious of what Quagmire says about single life, Peter is sent back to 1984 for one night by Death. Appearing as his eighteen year old self, he cancels his cinema date with Lois Pewterschmidt, goes drinking with Cleveland and kisses Molly Ringwald. He returns to a present in which he is married to Molly, Lois is married to Quagmire, and Al Gore is president. Brian explains that the missed date caused it. Death is summoned again, but Peter keeps getting the date wrong and Death refuses any more attempts. Lois goes to the country club dance with Quagmire, so Peter and Brian break in through an air vent. Brian ends up playing in the band while Peter punches Quagmire, kisses Lois and proposes to her.
