Dial Meg for Murder

Episode 11 of Family Guy season 8 (S08E11), the 137th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Alex Carter and Andrew Goldberg and directed by Cyndi Tang. First broadcast on 31 January 2010.

Story

Peter enters a rodeo and falls straight off his bull. Brian is hired by the editor of Teen People to write about the average American girl and follows Meg for research with Stewie. They learn she has fallen for Luke, a prisoner she met through a school pen-pal scheme. Brian tells Peter and Lois, who ban her from seeing him. Luke escapes during a riot and hides in Meg's room, and when Peter finds him Joe arrests them both. Meg serves three months for harbouring a convict and comes home a hardened criminal, terrorising the family and beating up Connie D'Amico at school. Planning to leave, she forces Brian at gunpoint to drive her to rob Mort's pharmacy. He shows her his article, which describes her as far kinder than the typical girl. Moved, Meg drops the act and returns home.
