Go, Stewie, Go!

Episode 13 of Family Guy season 8 (S08E13), the 139th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Gary Janetti and directed by Greg Colton. First broadcast on 14 March 2010.

Story

Stewie is watching Jolly Farm Revue again, and Brian mentions auditions for an American version of the programme. Only a female part remains, so Stewie dresses as a girl, calls himself Karina Smirnoff and wins the role. On set he falls for his young co-star Julie, and the two grow close over a sleepover. When Julie says she wishes Karina were a boy, Stewie makes an advance, and she insists she is not a lesbian. He reveals his identity during a live taping, and Julie's mother forbids her from speaking to him. Meanwhile Peter needles Lois about her age, leaving her insecure and drawn to Meg's new boyfriend Anthony. Lois kisses him on the sofa and Meg walks in. Meg demands that her mother back off, and Peter admits he was insulting Lois to hide his own worries about ageing.

Production and reception

The first broadcast on 14 March 2010 was watched in 6.72 million homes with a 3.5 rating among 18 to 49 year olds. Wikipedia, Go, Stewie, Go!
