And Then There Were Fewer
Episode 1 of Family Guy season 9 (S09E01), the 148th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and directed by Dominic Polcino. First broadcast on 26 September 2010.
Story
James Woods invites the people of Quahog to a dinner at his island mansion, saying his girlfriend Priscilla has brought him to religion and he wants to atone. Quagmire's date Stephanie is shot dead in the chair meant for Woods, a storm takes out the bridge, and Woods is stabbed during a power cut. Muriel Goldman, Priscilla, and Jillian's husband Derek die in turn. A bloodied Golden Globe found under Tom Tucker's bed gets him arrested, but the next morning Lois works out that the newsreader Diane Simmons is responsible: Woods had dropped her and Tucker had arranged for a younger co-anchor. Diane marches Lois to a cliff edge and is shot dead by Stewie, who wants the killing of Lois for himself.
