Road to the North Pole
Episode 7 of Family Guy season 9 (S09E07), the 154th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Chris Sheridan and Danny Smith and directed by Greg Colton. First broadcast on 12 December 2010.
Story
The mall Santa brushes Stewie off on Christmas Eve, so Stewie sets out to kill him and Brian follows. A flare fired inside a lorry cab starts a pile-up that wrecks Brian's car, and the pair carry on by snowmobile and then on foot. Santa's workshop turns out to be a polluting factory in a dead landscape, worked by inbred elves and prowled by flesh-eating reindeer, with Santa himself ill and worn down by demand. He collapses, and Brian and Stewie take over the deliveries, losing ninety minutes at the first house before finding they had the wrong address. On Christmas morning they wheel Santa onto the news and ask the world to settle for one present each a year. A year on, he has recovered.
Production and reception
