Welcome Back, Carter
Episode 3 of Family Guy season 9 (S09E03), the 150th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Wellesley Wild and directed by Cyndi Tang. First broadcast on 10 October 2010.
Story
Lois and Peter visit her parents, and while fetching Carter Pewterschmidt for dinner Peter finds him having sex with another woman aboard his yacht. Carter demands silence, and Peter, egged on by Brian, Quagmire and Joe at the Drunken Clam, uses the secret to make his father-in-law a servant, extracting limousine jousts, invented catchphrases and a television set. While the two carry the set out of the house, Peter lets the affair slip to Barbara. Carter announces a divorce, and Peter takes him to a club, where a woman named Paula walks out after Carter orders a black customer to fetch his drink. Carter takes roses to Barbara, finds her seeing Roginald, her wartime lover, apologises and declares his love, and she lets him move home.
