Road to Europe

Episode 20 of Family Guy season 3 (S03E20), the 48th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Daniel Palladino and directed by Dan Povenmire. First broadcast on 7 February 2002.

Story

Stewie adores Jolly Farm Revue, a British children's programme, and sets off for London to live on the farm. He stows away on a flight and Brian follows him aboard, but the plane lands in the Middle East. Stewie refuses to go home, so the pair steal a camel, which dies in the desert. A balloon and a train take them across Europe to Amsterdam. At BBC Television Centre, Stewie finds the farm is a set and its characters are played by jaded, foul-mouthed actors. He returns to Quahog with Brian. Meanwhile Peter and Lois attend Kiss-stock, a run of concerts by Peter's favourite band. On stage Gene Simmons offers Lois the microphone and she does not know the words, humiliating Peter. At a diner afterwards Lois recognises Simmons without his make-up as an old boyfriend, and Peter's pride is restored.
