Tales of a Third Grade Nothing

Episode 6 of Family Guy season 7 (S07E06), the 116th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Alex Carter and directed by Jerry Langford. First broadcast on 16 November 2008.

Story

Sent upstairs with shipping reports, Peter finds the executive bathroom and resolves to earn a promotion so he can use it. Hoping to impress his boss Angela, he blows up a rival's billboard and wrecks part of a children's hospital instead. Angela still recommends him for promotion, but Human Resources rules that he must first complete the third grade. Back at school Peter does badly, offends his teacher Mrs Wilson and mocks Omar, the top pupil. Mrs Wilson lets him enter the spelling bee, promising to pass him if he wins. Omar stumbles and Peter spells his word correctly. Angela then tells him he is going to jail for the explosion, and he serves a week. Meanwhile Frank Sinatra Jr returns to sing with Brian at the Quahog Cabana Club. The pair buy it and let Stewie turn it into a nightclub, pLace, which empties when Andy Dick walks in.
