Fox-y Lady

Episode 10 of Family Guy season 7 (S07E10), the 120th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Matt Fleckenstein and directed by Pete Michels. First broadcast on 22 March 2009.

Story

Fox News sacks its reporter Rhonda Latimer after high-definition broadcasting exposes her wrinkles. Lois auditions for the job, ignoring Brian's warnings about the channel's conservative bias, and gets it. Her first assignment is an exposé meant to show that Michael Moore is gay. Watching his house, she sees Rush Limbaugh leave and concludes they are a couple. The network refuses to run anything embarrassing about Limbaugh, and Lois accepts that Brian was right. The pair confront the men and find both are Fred Savage in bodysuits, a ruse he uses to keep acting. He lets them report the story. Meanwhile Peter, Chris and Meg create a cartoon about three disabled ducks, Handi-Quacks; Peter sacks Meg and recruits his friends as voices. Fox chief Peter Chernin likes the pilot, but Peter walks away over a suggested change and regrets it. Lois later reveals she is no longer a reporter.
