Three Kings

Episode 15 of Family Guy season 7 (S07E15), the 125th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Alec Sulkin and directed by Dominic Bianchi. First broadcast on 10 May 2009.

Story

Peter, told by Lois he watches too much television, presents three Stephen King stories with the regular characters in the roles. In Stand by Me, four boys played by Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland follow railway tracks in 1955 to find a dead body, which proves to be Meg. A train runs over Joe's legs on the way, and the town bully, Mayor West, claims the body. In Misery, the author Paul Sheldon (Brian) crashes in a snowstorm after hitting Stephen King with his car. His self-declared biggest fan, Stewie Wilkes, holds him in a cabin and forces him to rewrite the ending of his final children's book. In The Shawshank Redemption, Andy Dufresne (Peter) is jailed, befriends Red (Cleveland) and tunnels out behind a poster. Red is paroled and digs up the gift Andy left, but cannot recall the name of the Mexican village where Andy waits.
