Family Gay

Episode 8 of Family Guy season 7 (S07E08), the 118th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Richard Appel and directed by Brian Iles. First broadcast on 8 March 2009.

Story

Sent for groceries, Peter comes home with a brain-damaged horse. He enters it in a race, where it runs amok, causes 100,000 dollars of damage and dies of a heart attack. Peter dumps the body in Mort Goldman's pharmacy. To pay the debt he joins medical trials, one of which injects an experimental gene that makes him gay. Lois is upset, then warms to the change, then reconsiders when Peter rejects her advances. Told the effect may be permanent, she tries to accept it, but Peter leaves her for a man named Scott. Stewie and Brian kidnap Peter and send him to a straight camp. When Scott comes looking, Brian confesses. Lois collects him and tells him to go back to Scott. The gene wears off during an orgy and Peter goes home. The family agree never to mention it, and Mort throws the horse through the window.
