Blind Ambition
Episode 3 of Family Guy season 4 (S04E03), the 53rd Family Guy episode overall. Written by Steve Callaghan and directed by Chuck Klein. First broadcast on 15 May 2005.
Story
Lois catches Quagmire spying on her in the ladies' toilet at the bowling alley. Joe releases him after his arrest, but Lois, Bonnie and Loretta petition to have him removed from the neighbourhood. Peter defends his friend, pausing for a fight with Ernie the Giant Chicken, and the women agree Quagmire can stay if he behaves. His friends train him, but at the mall he panics and ends up in a room monitoring the women's changing rooms. He saves a woman having a heart attack with CPR and is hailed a hero, though his motives were not honourable. Feeling left behind, Peter tries to set a nickel-eating record, is poisoned and goes blind. He then walks into the burning Drunken Clam and unknowingly rescues Horace the bartender. The mayor gives him a medal and he receives an eye transplant.
Production and reception
