Brian Sings and Swings

Episode 19 of Family Guy season 4 (S04E19), the 69th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Michael Rowe and directed by Chuck Klein and Zac Moncrief. First broadcast on 8 January 2006.

Story

Peter reverses his car into Brian, putting him in hospital and leaving him depressed about mortality. Frank Sinatra Jr. invites Brian to sing with him, and the new outlook lifts his mood. Stewie barges into a later performance and the three become an act. After a drunken night Brian loses Stewie, who returns with part of his ear bitten off by a deer. Peter orders Brian to stop, Brian bites his arm, and Peter becomes frightened of him. Ashamed, Brian quits the act and drinks from a gutter until Stewie talks him round. Meanwhile Meg is invited to join a school club that turns out to be the Lesbian Alliance. Popularity follows, so Meg keeps up the pretence, then confesses to her friend Sarah, who had expected sex. The trio sing again until Mia Farrow, summoned by Peter, drags Frank off stage and spanks him.
