Brian the Bachelor

Episode 7 of Family Guy season 4 (S04E07), the 57th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Mark Hentemann and directed by Dan Povenmire. First broadcast on 26 June 2005.

Story

Cleveland is downcast about his divorce, so Peter takes him to audition for The Bachelorette. Cleveland freezes, and Peter's attempt to calm him ends with both men naked in front of the producers, who cast Brian instead. On the show he falls for the bachelorette, Brooke Roberts, and beats Quagmire to the final rose. Once the cameras stop, Brooke treats him as a colleague, confirming that the programme is scripted. Brian becomes obsessed, leaving messages and serenading her outside her flat until she throws a phone at him. Meanwhile a talking pimple on Chris's face, named Doug, urges him into mischief. Chris burns a bag of excrement on the Swansons' porch, sprays graffiti on a shop and wrecks Mort's acne stock. When Joe brings proof and Doug threatens to kill him, Chris goes to a dermatologist and destroys Doug with cortisone.
