Episode 28 of Family Guy season 4 (S04E28), the 78th Family Guy episode overall. Written by Gary Janetti and Chris Sheridan and directed by Pete Michels. First broadcast on 21 May 2006.

Story

At the Quahog community pool Peter throws Stewie in to teach him to swim, and he nearly drowns. Lois enrols him in lessons, where a boy named Brad is the star pupil. Jealous, Stewie rigs a lifeguard chair with dynamite to kill Brad, but the detonator misfires and the chair falls on Stewie instead. He briefly lands in Hell with Steve Allen before Lois revives him, and resolves to be good. Meanwhile Peter's rant about a video shop that will not stock pornography earns him a Quahog 5 News segment, What Really Grinds My Gears, which grows so popular that Tom Tucker is sacked. Stewie's niceness irritates Brian, who goads him back to his old self; Stewie then copies Brian's drinking. A night at the Drunken Clam ends with Stewie driving Brian's car through the bar wall. Tucker airs the footage and reclaims his job; Peter is fired.

Production and reception
